Another time-honored tradition of Burro Days is the Annual Kid’s Pack Dog Race. This will be the 47th running of the dogs…and the kids! The race is now held at the Fairplay Beach, and is just a hair shy of 1/4 mile. Just a short fun course along the Middle Fork of the South Platte River in Fairplay for kids between ages 7 and 12. Prizes, furry friends, laughs and lots of photos to be had! There is no entry fee and registration starts at 8:30am at the Fairplay Beach, race at 9:30am, Saturday, July 27, 2024! Don’t forget your pack, your pick, (toothpicks available on site) and your peanut butter sandwich!
